I have been using mostly Krieger barrels for nearly 10 years now. I have yet to chamber one that shoots over 1/4 MOA. They break in effortlessly and clean easily. To be fair, I have never chambered a Pac-Nor, but I know many people who shoot them and have no complaints. I have one Lothar barrel, and despite the pain in the backside that it was to purchase, it is a fantastic shooter.

In a big bore, I don't know if it will make any difference. I have a Pac-Nor and one of the big reasons I chose them was the twist rate offered. 577 BME 3"500 KILL ALL 358 GREMLIN 404-375 *we band of 45-70ers* (Founder) Single Shot Shooters Society S.S.S.S. (Founder)

+1 I have both. If I were building a competition or varmint gun, probably Krieger. A hunting gun: price and turn-around. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

Both are excellent but I lean towards Krieger, that said my favorite barrels have been Lothar Walthar for the last 10 or 15 years..I seldom use anything else. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com

Krieger. Been using them longer than I remember. FYI you can get any twist you want with Krieger.

If it's a match gun then Krieger. On a hunting gun the PacNor works fine, is cheaper and quicker to get.
