Pac-Nor or Krieger?
Which do you prefer?

I have been using mostly Krieger barrels for nearly 10 years now. I have yet to chamber one that shoots over 1/4 MOA.

They break in effortlessly and clean easily. To be fair, I have never chambered a Pac-Nor, but I know many people who shoot them and have no complaints.

I have one Lothar barrel, and despite the pain in the backside that it was to purchase, it is a fantastic shooter.

In a big bore, I don't know if it will make any difference. I have a Pac-Nor and one of the big reasons I chose them was the twist rate offered.

+1 I have both. If I were building a competition or varmint gun, probably Krieger. A hunting gun: price and turn-around.

Both are excellent but I lean towards Krieger, that said my favorite barrels have been Lothar Walthar for the last 10 or 15 years..I seldom use anything else.

Krieger. Been using them longer than I remember.

FYI you can get any twist you want with Krieger.

If it's a match gun then Krieger. On a hunting gun the PacNor works fine, is cheaper and quicker to get.
