I have a ZKK 602 in 375 that has the barrel cut to 21" with ERA adjustable elevation front installed. Also a 550 in 416Rigby cut to 21", Brockman stock. Both shoot 1" groups consistantly. Handy, Balance well really good in and out of a truck cab. Took a nice Ele last year with the 416 and it didn't know the differance. I also have an 03 Spngfld tha was customized by Les Womack for use as an Alaskan trail gun. The bbl is 16" with high Redfield patridge installed on the original ramp. Forearm and handguard shortened and reinstalled.Bolt handle lowered and really nice cased 3pos Winchester style safety installed. Lyman Alaskan scope in Griffin & Howe detachable side mount. Compass mounted in buttstock on left side.Timney trigger.Even had an old poloroid developer tube full of matches in the buttplate trap. VERY handy gun and shoots factory 150gr in 1 1/2" all day. Little
noisy. I rather like short barrel guns, but do like them to have rather stiff heavier barrels.
Mostly just personal preference as they are no BETTER than longer barrels.

Zimbabwe,

Could you please possibly post a few pics of that one? That sounds like one interesting piece.

If I can figure out how I will. I have a digital camera but am not too good at doing things with the images.
