your need for external validation is "interesting" ..

Honey, by YOUR standard, your stipulation of orange is false, as it's been debunked...

but you still believe in bigfoot and ufo's, right?

Jesus, Steve, you seriously need to get help

"While it was certainly possible that he said those things, Snopes was unable to independently verify the claim."

Unverified does not mean proven false, unless you have a childlike grasp of the English language.

I'm sure you will continue to repeat that lie though, you have been called out on it before.

Whatever indeed.....

and therein lies ONE of the core differences -- if it can't be proven true, then, to me, it's FALSE -- in all cases

but to some people, if it can't be false, then it's true but only in select cases where they want it to be ...

AND, here's the dang of it, if it's TRUE, but you don't like it, then it's "the big lie"

here's a couple
the steele dossier is TRUTH
hunter's laptop is russian disinformation
Covid did NOT come from a lab
Obama did NOT spy on the trump campaign without warrants
jobama showered with his daughter
Biden is sharp as a tack
pelosi never used insider information for stock trades
"Trump didn't win the popular vote" -- as if it matters, but he did win by wider margins than either bill clinton campaign
"men can get pregnant"

other side stupidity
"trump is the greatest president"
well, after that, none really compare ...

anyway, i want another cup of coffee

Excellent points, one and all, but little Stevie will ignore them all......they are way too inconvenient for him.

Nobody ever said you were the brightest bulb in the pack. Because something cannot be proven true does not make it false, it does not mean that it is true either. An intelligent person knows that a third option exists, the veracity of the claims can be undetermined.

Hard to believe that such a simple concept escapes you but then again.....

Yeah, me so dumb...

One position for the rational "no evidence of big foot" therefore it doesn't exist

One position for the gullible, "there's no proof Bigfoot doesn't exist"

Common sense just aint that common

Poor dear, shame you cannot understand the concept of something being unsubstantiated or inconclusive, a very simple concept and yet here you are killpc

You are wrong Jeffe, but too small to admit it. Why am I not surprised?

Some folks don't mind clinging to an incorrect position, even when proven wrong, repeatedly.

Sad, but here you are....

Amusing.
lets look at the putting high ranking officers on a pedestal of reproach, because of who they are.
Obo fired a number of high ranking officers, a list of generals included.
A variety of misconduct reasons. They are only humans, and like any person of power, can abuse it. They lie and cheat just like anyone else.

How could I or anyone disagree with that statement? That said, I find Kelly to be more credible than Trump. I never once took the position that Kelly was correct, just that I find him to be the more believable of the two men in question. Do you see it differently?

Maybe after another cup or two you will be able to understand simple concepts, things like an accusation that is inconclusive or unsubstantiated is not necessarily false.

I doubt it thought.

According to snopes fact check.
Kelly first said he didnt hear trump say it.
Then said he did after he left.
I also think if anyone could piss a person off to lie about things, it would be trump. I take that into account, along with no-one else hearing him say it. I think snopes called it, unverified.
I say, I dont know, and it's a pissing match.

Poor dear, thinks the world should live as he chooses to do.

Conformity and meeting other expectations never really was my thing.

I'm at least as happy, if not happier than most married folks I know.

Different horses for different courses as they say.

I am excited that the family will be growing soon, first setter will be here in a couple of weeks.

Luchese boots, why that impresses me almost as much as you being a holder of several advanced degrees while not being able to follow simple concepts, like the meaning of the word unsubstantiated.

Wow Daisey...quite the meltdown so early in the evening. You usually seem to work up to this level of rage.

Honey, your academic creds don't impress me, nor does your wife, kids, toys or house. I left the corporate world while I was thriving, fiber optic engineer was my last position, bought my house early in a wonderful area, still have it, as well as great credit, a career that I love, and have had a life full of travel and interesting experiences. If I still wanted to be sitting in a cubicle, I would be. Instead I work in a stunning environment, set my own hours and work on things I enjoy. This afternoon was spent inletting a nice little boxlock for a client, yesterday I sold two very expensive double rifles and my commission was quite healthy.

If you care to compare skills you are welcome set your gunwork next to mine any day of the week Wink

Never failed at anything I put my to, how about you Jeffe? A success running your own business? Ouch, not so much eh? What is that old saying, I remember it now. Those who can, do, those who cannot stay in school studying.

Bye the way, I hardly hate higher learning, quite the contrary actually. Education is wonderful thing, but it is not the only thing. You demonstrate that daily.

I really enjoyed today Jeffe, you have been wrong all day long, and just keep doubling down.

Have your wife read this to you really, really slowly:

"While it was certainly possible that he said those things

Oh, my wife is happy to read your idiotic posts .. where's YOUR wife to explain my posts to you?

opps

just like a bream hitting a corn kernel, you can count on stevie

oh, honey, my gun smithing skills are a HOBBY, like your tech skills --

of course my accomplishments don't "impress" you -- sweety, you are beyond compare -

never failed at anything? JESUS, what a terrible like -I invest in tech companies, have about a 80% failure, but the HITS, baby, they PAY - 8i am MORE than happy to fail several times a day, it's called "fail fast", one of the most useful tools in tech .. oh, wait, you've been fired from every tech job you've had, and haven't worked in the industry "in decades" ... i hope this doesn't raise too many bad memories

Honey, i've paid more TAXES, so FAR this year than you'll make income for the year, per your own statements- no, really, it's rather a joke around the homestead .. in fact, i'll make 3x more in passive income this year than your stated income range -- it's just SAD

but, i guess, to a multiple DROP OUT, with a history of failed relationships, that can't hold a corporate job and can't complete any academics, it must seem "weird"

no wife
no kids
no retirement

well, you STATE you live in peace and tranquility -- i wish you 10X of that --

meanwhile, with my kids over the house almost everyday, a huge life lived well, .. oh, i won't judge you, but i'll say

bless your heart ...

oh, it's kinda sad that your are still living the little furry dom fantasy - No means NO, stevie -- i don't care what your do at the brokeback kennel and hunting club with your friends -- that's sad AND deviant

honey, you couldn't dom a bowl of cereal

Just a thought Steve. Once it became clear a while back that Jeff only hangs out here to look for fights, provoke arguments, bait folks, follow certain posters around like a stalker and generally just be condescending, I availed myself of the wonderful ignore feature here. I commend it to you. If you decide not to use it, please at least consider not quoting his posts in your replies so we get the full benefit of the ignore feature. Wink

What a heartwarming story Yakob, a young Russian boy makes good the American dream and fights the good fight for Putin. You are a peach.

Do you think that you and Daisey might be able to co-ordinate and decide what the correct level of education for me is? Daisey claims I am undereducated, and you claim that I am overeducated. It is all so confusing.

That might be your best meltdown yet Daisey, bat shit crazy and full of lies. cuckoo

A life well lived...you sure SEEM happy jumping

There is a long line of people who are disappointed that I am not a conformist, you are free to join that line at the rear. I don't miss corporate life; I left because I wanted something different, and I found it. You make some very large and incorrect assumptions in your post. No need for me to correct your errors, I'll just say that I have a level of contentment in my life that very few people have.

Enjoy that cubicle today Jeffe. I'll be doing a bit more stock work, a nice long walk in the mountains with the dog, after that it will depend on how I'm feeling. Hard to say what I will choose to do but no matter what it is, it will beat the shit out of a commute into an urban shithole and sitting at a desk. Been there, done that, got some nice fat checks for my troubles but decided that life was just not for me.

You might consider some attention on grammar and capitalization in your posts, they read like they were written by a child.

One more thing Honey, I do find it odd that every time I prove you to be wrong, you revert to beastiality refferences....as I have pointed out before, you are one weird SOB.

Snark aside.....
Three people Jeffe, Steve and JTex, all with various levels of education. All successful self made folks.
The 18-28 yr olds I talk to seem so lost, I wish they would open their eyes to the workers like you.
Not all of course, but they seem to want only enough work at high pay, to earn a dollar and spend two.

Don't leave yourself out of that group. Served this great country, hard working helping young men that need direction. Sounds to me like you are awfully hard working yourself

see, like a bream to corn - Stevie, honey, I haven't worked in a cube since the last time you got fired from a closet money job in corporate - hey, did you tell the nice HR lady "I answer to NO ONE" then, too? - I HAVE, however, worked off a folding table and lawn chairs working at a start-up that did okay - When I am in "the office" it's in a pretty nice area, in a standalone low-rise, with a decent office -- the other 85% of the time, I work remotely -- my commute is tough, man -- let the dogs out, start the bbq, get a coffee, and take 30 whole steps to my office (no landline, natch)

Not trying to muddy the water, as there are many that are successful out there.
But you three are in this thread, talking of education.
It is not the end all of success. Young people especially need to realize that. It's has to come from inside themselves.

I learned trades first, and have feed my family from them, many times - Industrial painting, sandblasting, wrenching, jack-leg engineering BEFORE getting out of HS - I held (due to lack of paying dues for decades) then after HS, a Painter's union card, still have welding certs - can lay a decent bead, but out of practice

HS, and from my stepdad, learned the basics of machining and draft -

Went to college, broke my back while working in the trades, learned computers, went back to college, got my degree, went into the computer field, got a zillion techie certs - which has more direct, measurable impact to my $$ than did my degree, worked on COOL projects , got my second degree, did more cool work, Decided I wanted to shift from tech to management, got my MBA, made a bit more money, but honestly, My microsoft, cisco, and vmare certs increased my pay more, in the short term -- then changed jobs, and that's when the MBA factor kicked in ...

I strongly encourage my kids and grandkids to consider the trades and or certs - training can be fast and PAID, rather than long and paying - can work pretty soon, and you can always go back to school and struggle with that later -

Don't get me wrong, I'm a proud Texan, born and raised on the Mexican border.

But Santa Anna screwed up big time by engaging at the Alamos. It delayed his advance by two weeks over a force of less than 200 men when he could have bypassed it and proceeded north against Houston before Houston could assemble an army. Santa Anna could, and should, have bypassed the Alamo, perhaps leaving a small force to keep them pinned down.

Instead, he inflicted significant casualties on his army and delayed their advance. But he didn't and the rest is history and I'm glad it turned out like it did.

My ancestors did not fight at the Alamo, but they lived on the Lavaca river at the time and some of the residents of that community did.

True. I think Santa Ana was more concerned about spiffy-looking uniforms and flags versus tactics. On the other hand, he had an army of 5,000 and a lot of artillery. It's understandable that he thought he could reduce a few hundred volunteers in a broken=down old church pretty quickly.

The weird dog fetish is all you Honey, but hey, just keep on projecting.

I proved you wrong yesterday, and last week. Why am I not surprised that you can't man up and admit it? I will say, it was awful nice of Jines to find that cartoon for you so that you could FINALLY understand that tariffs are taxes, and your ranting about only mental midgets feel that way about tariffs was truly priceless. Your a gift that keeps on giving Daisey.

Sad?? Yes Jeffe, you are a very, very sad individual, and small. Very, very small.
