How many times do you doofus brained idiots need this explained to you? Warren, as a child, was always told in the family that she had Cherokee in her. Was she supposed to just think they were all lying? She had no reason to doubt it. When she was young, including the ages where she put native American on applications, there was no DNA testing or anything to disprove it. There is a difference between being wrong about your ancestry and being a liar. My grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee grandpa married right off the reservation. My dad was 50% Cherokee and damn sure looked like an Indian. I have been raised my whole life under the impression that I am 25% Cherokee. If I take a DNA test and it comes up empty it can mean a lot of things, but not that I've been "lying" about it. | |||
