I would not expect this behavior from a Senator. Sadly, I can from a Representative.

I am remind how senior senators ostracized the young antagonistic senator (of the same party) in the film Advise and Consent. I would hope something similar would happen.

Mullen is a good guy. Met him a couple of times. The guy he was speaking to is a thug.

This will not hurt his relationship with his OK constituents at all. In fact he is the new OK hero.

An Mike, I wouldn’t call him an ass clown to his face. Wink

Just because you meet a guy once or twice and repeats back to you the things things you to hear does not make him a good guy.

Says all I need to know about the GOP in OK.

Texas is a whole different place, and OK is our (special) little brother -

but, either you don't know, or are forgetting, the union thug was willing to engage in mutual combat - IDK if KY has laws around that, but yeah

Senators are Senators. He is more than some cowpuncher in Oklahoma. He must act like it.

I would like to shoot a lot of people, that come into court. We have a responsibility beyond us.

Professionalism and decorum have to be maintained.

People acting like use whatever prerogative you wish is no excuse for a U.S. Senator during a hiring to come down to this level.

Uphold the office, if you cannot uphold yourself.

He'd have to stand on a box for a grown man to say anything "to his face".

Next we'll be hearing about how he's a Cherokee, which is true. He's 1/128th Cherokee, his great-great Grandfather, Bert Morris, was on the Dawes Roll as 1/16th by blood.

Any ancestor on the Dawes Roll qualifies you for membership as a Cherokee.

News for you Joshua. He DOESN’T have to act in a way you approve of…only his electorate. And a little more news…he could give a rat’s ass about what you think of him.

And, I never met a cowpuncher from OK that wasn’t a good fellow either. Likely a helluva lot better than the Democratic Socialist from Vermont who honeymooned in Russia.

I will certainly take him over many in the Senate. He is actually a nice laid-back guy with a lot of common sense. He has actually worked most of his life and owns a plumbing company he built. He is just the kind of person I want analyzing spending bills.

I am not saying this little foray was in his best interest…but I don’t hold it against him and the people of OK won’t either.

How many times do you doofus brained idiots need this explained to you? Warren, as a child, was always told in the family that she had Cherokee in her. Was she supposed to just think they were all lying? She had no reason to doubt it. When she was young, including the ages where she put native American on applications, there was no DNA testing or anything to disprove it. There is a difference between being wrong about your ancestry and being a liar. My grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee grandpa married right off the reservation. My dad was 50% Cherokee and damn sure looked like an Indian. I have been raised my whole life under the impression that I am 25% Cherokee. If I take a DNA test and it comes up empty it can mean a lot of things, but not that I've been "lying" about it.

Looks like sound judgement to me Jeffi.
He is taking cover while the armed men are in front, just what anyone with a brain should be doing.
were you taught differently? I wasn't.
I dont see an unarmed woman in front of him shielding him or anything of the sort, so what's the issue?

Why? Would he threaten to beat my ass too? Should that make me scared?

He's a total ass-clown and I'd be happy to tell him that to his face.

He's not displaying too much common sense lately. I realize you are ready to excuse any sort of behavior from trump and, I guess, this ass-clown, so you get to pay less in taxes but we can't be having US Senators threatening to beat up witnesses in senate hearings. Just doesn't work. I realize that in your trump-world, pretty much anything goes. You can lie, cheat on your wife, be a seditionist, offer to fight witnesses during senate hearings and pretty much anything else but none of that is right just because people like you are stupid enough to vote for folks like trump and Mullen.
