When a jury panel is 9 of 10 leftist Biden supporters, the judge’s family has a financial stake in the prosecution and is the only arbiter of “for cause”, Trumps lawyers were hamstrung from the get go.

I believe Matt Gaetz is a truly good and decent man, and that Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of the intellects of our time.

Welcome to Hillary's USSA. We've been skating since she lost, and Obama has now won (again.) Next, I suppose, we'll find opposition candidates under a bush in a national park, beaten beyond recognition. (That's what happened to popular non-Kikuyu candidates when I was in high school in Kenya.) If Hunter Biden and the Big Guy go untouched, might as well be kith and kin to third world politics. I think Trump used more vile descriptors for failed countries...

No, I do not know that. I will let the courts and professional prosecutors tell me who should be incarcerated.

And, of course, O.J. Simpson was not guilty of murder! The jury said so!

Trump may have been able to get a somewhat fair trial in upstate NY, but in NYC? Not a chance.

OJ received due process.

No, under our rule of law he was not a murderor. He was presumed innocent, and the state failed to stop that presumption.

You say, he can’t get a fair trial, but he just did.

The defense only challenged one juror for cause.

Tell us, what errors in applying the law did the Judge make?

Tell us, what is the rationale for identifying those errors?

Trump is a convicted felon.
His campaign chair is a convicted felon.
His deputy campaign chair is a felon.
His chief campaign strategist is a felon.
His first National Security Advisor is a felon.
His personal attorney is a felon.
His other personal attorney is a felon.
His trade advisor is a felon.
His company CFO is a felon.

Almost like there's a pattern, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

I won't be making a vote for Trump, I'll be making a vote against Biden and his policies. We can't handle another 4 years of his disaster, which will only get worse in a second term.

It's a shame that it's come to the point that we're not voting for a candidate, we're voting against a candidate. Have we run out of decent leaders in this country?

I wonder how the Trumpers would be acting if HRC was running for President, and was convicted of 34 counts?

She was damned for not violating the law. Not only did she not face a trial, we were told the caselaw would not support a conviction under the facts. Yet, she is still damned. I damned her to judging her conduct not criminal, but not of the quality to be president.

Funny none of that addresses the trial. Just some trans hate. A matter that takes no property from me.

Here we have a trumper following the Trump narrative inferring revenge.

They cannot tell us how the trial was not a due and proper process. So, pivot to trans people.

People who are not harming you. People who are not convicted felons.

Simply, because you do not like the result. Like you did not like the result of the election.

I bet Trump is hoping and praying there is a riot or two, maybe some violence that breaks out as a result of the verdict. His ego needs a little assuaging and if it means some folks get hurt, arrested, property gets destroyed, that’s a small price to pay.

Jail time for sure, suspended due to age.

Appeal and 6-3 supreme court will overturn it on some vague technical ground and he will keep crowing.

Hello Judge

Long time.

I am really saddened to read your post. Honestly.

I really miss the amazing writing you used to post. But not this one.

You have a right to be a Republican and a conservative. But you took an oath in law before God .....

Your training and your vocation were to maintain fairness and balance. That means you need look at all political views with the same moral code. But you failed miserably here in your post.

For every extreme Democrat, the US has 10 extreme right wing bigots. Just look at the Freedom Caucus.

Why has the GOP elected so many criminals and felons to congress in the last 50 years? I think the last count was 10 to 1 or worse.

Despite all the hate thrown at Obama and his family, why has no GOP leader condemned the evil hate and racism? Why has the Right used its so called Christian values to spread hate and lies? Why has the Right failed to practice the basic teaching of Jesus?

The problem is that the GOP is now in the hands of a radical White supremacist group masquerading as some freedom movement.

Think it is time for all decent human beings to reflect deeply.

I was wondering about that, whether the Supreme Court would help Trump out, but I don't see a likely ground for federal appeal.
