The problem with your argument Jeff is that "law enforcement" appears to be generally agreeing with the protesters. See the LAPD statements on the NG. And, now that Governor Hot Wheels has called up the NG in Texas, see the statements made by the Dallas and San Antonio police department chiefs. They don't want NG intervention and didn't ask for it. Because they know it's not necessary and yes, the chance that it escalates tension and the possibility for lethal violence is real. Shit, Abbott didn't even tell them he was sending the Texas NG.
