I don’t disagree that what the 1/6 folks did was wrong and deserved significant consequences… but treating it as a military incursion is flat out silly.

It was done in a matter of hours and the perpetrators rounded up and arrested. More of them were arrested and tried than were for fireboming a government building in Minneapolis, which was significantly more violent than 1/6.

In my mind, 1/6 was handled appropriately at least until Trump started handing out pardons.
