I thought good judges made sure the law was followed and if a bad law was written either said it was constitutional or not… if it was, then they said it’s up to the legislature to change it. We have a bunch of old laws that should be repealed and new ones written, not old ones “reinterpreted”. I’m all for literalism in the law… I was taught that was what the law was all about. And yes, both sides of the political aisle play games with this. | |||
