Does not change the matter federalizing trumps “for law enforcement” outside of DC is dubious. Trump’s actions are to intimidate Blue state. I remember during Jan 6 Committee hearings, there was testimony Flynn opined using federalized Guard units to seize voting machines. Yet many here cheered the Dems taking over local law enforcement and directing it via control of grants and such. Remember defund law enforcement? I agree that using the military is a bad idea.
