I wasn't there, but it looks like 5 ft easy, and maybe almost 6 ft. I try to not kill rattlesnakes unless they're right up near living structures. Down here everybody hates copperheads and water mocasins. Steve "He wins the most, who honour saves. Success is not the test." Ryan "Those who vote decide nothing. If you're children were out playing in the area where this snake was killed you wouldn't be rolling your eyes. PS they aren't protected around here. We protect our children and pets. velocity is like a new car, always losing value. BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.

swampshooter, I believe mete used the "eye-rolling" in regards to their law, not to killing snakes around the house. Steve "He wins the most, who honour saves. Success is not the test." Assuming the gentleman in the pic is only five feet, the snake has to be eight feet or more!

Lord forgive me...but I could not resist. When I saw the heading I thought it would be a picture of Michelle Obama's ass..... "When you play, play hard; when you work, don't play at all." Theodore Roosevelt

Is that the two-legged kind you find down at city hall or the no-legged kind you find in the grass?
