| Thanks for the reply. I've been using the peroxide paste (40, from the beauty supply store). Maybe I should just look into the cover-up. The challenge will be trying to match the color. |

| Has anyone tried oxalic acid ? I've tried it on other things succesfully but not on skulls. |

| I've had excellent results using CLR removing rust stains from 2 DIY Euro mounts. One application worked beautifully on one, the other required 3 applications. Peroxide afterwards evened up the colour. |
