Fauna doing fairly well on government reservation (Richland) where guns are not allowed. Any of you elk hunting gurus want to make a wild guess as to what he'd score? -------------------- EGO sum bastard ut does frendo

WOW! Big Bull I've heard of this bull on other sites as well as a monster typical that runs with him. My guess is closing in on 450 B$C for the score why what do you hear? Is this at the Hanover Nuke site?

On a nuke sight you say? Hmm... If you can't hunt them I would love to find the sheds. ----------------------------------------- "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. -Henry David Thoreau, Walden

Hanford was established in early 1940s as part of the Manhattan project. Primarily function as research lab and as Pu/U extraction facility. Later research and dual purpose reactors were built, but most of those have been moth balled or deactivated. Mainly in environmental clean up mode today, but business purpose or other required to enter property. You can almost bet that with security, pictures were taken with government own cameras, but that is obviously speculation on my part. -------------------- EGO sum bastard ut does frendo

What is amazing is that these 'ol boys sometimes venture into "huntable territory". This land with the exception of some D.F.W. and school sections is so fiercly private that it is nere' impossible to hunt. Some of the farmers have formed a hunting club and allow hunting with a "outa this world" member fee. A few years ago the "fee" for one of these trophy bulls could be as high as 50K dollars. Some fantastic mule deer bucks abound, also. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks" Hamlet III/ii

poached on hanford... wouldn't be the first time! http://www.fws.gov/arsnew/regm...egion&callingValue=1 NRA Life Member Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.
