Thanks for all of the thoughts. It sounds like the Ruger Africanis an option that I should consider much more seriously. I will try to handle one this weekend.

Just a thought, if ya dig the Ruger, Lipsey,s has a run of the African in 9.3x62 with polished blue barrel, a leetle bit nicer wood, etc. Think its runnin about a hundred over regular, or so.. Course, if you like the satin blue better, disregard.
