...now a bit of work on the P14 stock....this will be for the 9.3x74r, so its a fairly heavy stock, chunky....



...first pic..as bought 303-25 with barrel destroyed by a wasp nest
...2 inches added to the butt and 1 to the comb
..pistol grip added, and bottom of fore-end
...sides of fore-end ( thats where the rats chewed it )
...getting close, a bit of work on the pistol grip now

....now a full wood for the MN....original cut down stock with fore-end of an old Mauser added...

...slimmed the fore-end, raised the comb, removed the belly from the rear stock, straightened the hollow under the mag box...now trying to position the pistol grip...at home with a broken toe ( don't ask !)so have plenty of time to play Roll Eyes

.....the pic makes it look a bit short and clubbish but it actually has a 20" barrel and is quite slim...
