is this a brainfart or candy for the big bore handcannon crowd?

i read lee martins article on the 500 martin which i think is a good idea based on the economics of using an existing bfr 500 s&w .50 barrel, the good bullet selection for the 500 s&w and the 50 alaskan case and thought what about the 45-70 bfr rechambered to the 450 alaskan??? more case capacity and the existing 458 barrel. there are no flies on the 45-70 in the bfr but to throw the heavy bullets in lower preasure might appeal to some.

I have to ask, to what purpose? You can get the BFR in .450 Marlin and an extra cylinder for the 45-70. You have the best of both worlds in one gun.
