Jason, nice mounts, especially the warthog. I was curious about the sign with the warthog saying it was in top 25 in the world, I assume that that is SCI? I ask because I have a huge warthog and me and my taxidermist measured him out of curisoity and he came out at about 38" unofficially. I never thought about having it offically measured.

Great mounts. Especially like the wood ducks. I've always wanted to do a similar mount.

38" is HUGE!!! All of my African trophies were taken with a bow-so there aren't as many records in the book for archery. 38" would still be gold medal for rifle. What weapon did you take yours with?

I took mine with a 300 win mag rifle in Limpopo RSA last year. I thouht 35 5/16" seemed low for a rifle, should have realized it was taken with a bow. I will be posting pictures of my updated trophy room soon, last year's mounts are just about done.

I'm becoming a big fan of the wall pedestal like your impala. I got my mule deer mounted that way, and I'll get several more animals done that way when I get the chance. Looks really nice.

Great Trophy room!

The wall pedestals like on the Impala and Wildebeest are the way to go.

They generally cost 15% more but I think they are worth it.

I don't think a gold medal head is small in any species. That is a great Hog, a 38" SCI hog would be pushing the top ten or beter.
