I have not decided what to do with my June bear and am considering a pedestal mount but would enjoy seeing some photos of a few. Have any of you had one done? Please post some pictures! ~Ann

Ann, I saw one at the World Taxidermy Championships in 2005. If you go to www.taxidermy.net, someone may have a pic of it. Hugh Pro Staff for: In Natures Image Taxidermy

I've always wanted to do it in 2 parts -- front and back and put the ends on either side of a sofa..............but I bet it would be a kick having the ends in different rooms. I'm not much for bear mounts that just show portions of the shoulder, neck and head. If you don't want to go at least half of a full-mount you might as well go with a nice rug and hang it on the wall. DB Bill aka Bill George

HI Ann; Here are some before and after shots of my 2006 Canada bear. He only had 3 legs so the taxidermist was trying to "down play" that fact per my request. In general I don't think my PHOTO of the great taxidermy does him justice. Best regards, Darin

Darin: The leg was healed and that 3-legged bear was FAT! He must have had an amazing life history. Steve "He wins the most, who honour saves. Success is not the test."
