This is not the pig I shot today, this is a pig I stuck a while back. Note the handle of a M1 Garand Bayonet in the shoulder area of this pig. I do not have a picture of the pig I shot today, because my shot drifted a bit back and did not anchor him. I waited until dark to go look for him/her but my headlight would not work.

So why am I posting a picture of a pig taken earlier? To see if I can. Broke down and decided to pay Photobucket $5 a month for the privilege of enthralling you all with pictures of dead hogs. Big Grin Hope you are happy. hilbily

I was afraid that was going to happen! I told pig over and over again not to run with knives. Such a shame. Big Grin

Nice work!

Pig drought continues. Multiple hunts and no bacon. This morning took the dogs across the road. Woods are dry, dry. Much of the hunt was for water to keep the dogs hydrated. My primary purpose of this hunt was to get Josette some time in the woods. She is my one yr. old Argentine Dogo and the jury is still out as to whether or not she will make a catch dog. Her last hunt was a disaster, she walked like a tree might fall on her. She seemed much more relaxed this morning. When the dogs bayed she did take off like a rocket towards the baying dogs. Unfortunately the hog made its escape before she got on scene. Can't buy a pig right now to save my life. Oh well, our turn will come. Hopefully Josette's time will as well. She is a beautiful animal, and has all the tools. The question is does she have the heart.

I like pictures of dead pigs! Thanks for posting! I do like to pose them, thus the "chin can"! I bought me a Seek XR to help locate runners. Was gonna play with it last night on at least deer if the pig did not show up. No pig no deer!

Its an thermo camera that plugs in to an iPhone. Got it on Amazon Prime day. Expensive toy but I like what I see so far. Just need a runner. Maybe Friday night!

So Photobucket is really just charging $5/mo to allow posting on a 3rd party site like this?

Yeah Steve, don't know how long this will last. Kind of looking for them to raise the ante at a later date, but we shall see. I stayed with pb cause that's what I know.

I dumped Photobucket when they tried to extort everyone for third party postings. I went with www.Imgur.com instead and found it much easier to use than PB. I'm an old dude who still has to ask his children for help with my Iphone so if I can figure it out anyone can.

.

I looked at IMGUR and started through the process, but when they advised that they would use my Facebook data and that of my friends and I would be allowing g Amazon to speak on my behalf, I shut it down.
