I was talking to someone the`other day. I told him how unplesent it can be skinning a hog on August in Texas. He told me that someone had told him that you can take a basketball air needle and hook it up to a compressor and stick it under the skin and inflate the skin away from the muscle making it much easier to skin. I don't now if this is B.S. or not but I can't wait to shoot a pig. I will video tape it. Either it will work or not but it will definantly be youtube worthy.

I had the chance to try it in south Texas a few years back. It works great. You can just skin the hog in strips from one end to the other. It is much easier. If you just skin right away they are pretty easy to skin anyway though.

Bob

Here is one all "blown up" just before I stared skinning him.
