We each took 9.3x62 with hand loads using 250 grn accubonds. Worked up load that worked in both rifles. Blaser R93 and H&R single shot. Most hunting was done at night over bait. only one night produced no pigs, but the weather was bad on that night. We got five between the two of us despite both being a bit sick with some kind of horrible respiratory crud. Marius was a great hunting as well as tourist guide, so a good time was had. Good food, a little polinka and my friend had his first experience of European driving on tiny curvy roads in winter conditions! He began to relax his break foot after a few day though and concentrate on shooting pigs. Will post some of the scenery later. Enjoy, and I highly recommend this trip! any thought on how to post pics off of google drive other than sharing the link will be appreciated

Thanks for this report....I have been thinking about something lie this. No suggestions on the pictures other than hosting them somewhere else. I think you need a direct link to the .jpg file for them to show up here in your post. Did you stay in town or at a lodge? ------------------------------- Some Pictures from Namibia Some Pictures from Zimbabwe An Elephant Story

I was in Arad county, Romania last month for a driven boar hunt. Previously we have gone to Hungary. The standard was very good. We were in a nice hotel, good food and beer. The jury is still out on the palinka. Over two days 15 of us shot 24 boar. The biggest weighted 150kgs. A good trip I will be repeating again this winter.

Thanks. Impressive pigs for sure. If you want me to post the pics for you you can email them to me (my email address is in my profile). I am kind of interested in this hunt, don't want to do a driven one but there are some big pigs there. ------------------------------- Some Pictures from Namibia Some Pictures from Zimbabwe An Elephant Story

I hunted with HuntRomania back in September for red stag, a couple of wild boar and a pair of roebuck. Great trip and affordable. The Romanians are a very friendly people. Looks like you you had a superb trip and those boar are fantastic trophies! Well done. Don't know if I could handle that much snow but I bet it made the hunting for wild boar memorable!
