This was my first bird cage. Square tubing and angle iron The only wood was the shelf on three sides to use a rest! Added the boards below the shelf to help break up my outline. Finally added the plywood on the back to further break it up. The whole left side is the door. Slanted ladder works as good as hand rails. It may be the location but this is my least hot summer tower. Wind is wrong from the north so I don't hunt it then.

This an inside look!

Are you the one building these towers?

Nice looking rigs. Believe you mentioned
moving one. On skids?

Thanks for sharing.

George

This one the panel is welded to square tubing. I salvaged the tubing from a different project. I did weld angle iron to the tubing to screw the wood to. The next two I use angle iron. This one was built to be put on legs. This is oil and gas country, up set tubing is around! 2 and 3/8" upset tubing will fit right in 2 and 7/8". Cut four pieces of 2 7/8" to the angle you want your legs, weld it to the bottom. On location slid the 2 3/8 in and raise it up. I used angle iron on top of the panel to screw the wood shelf to. Because of a fire hazard(no welding in the field) I drilled and taped the leg braces

Yes George I built them and the towers. No plans just pictures in my mind! Two friends, a tractor and I put this on up!
I will post pictures of #2 and #3 later!
