My TV's blown up, so thought I'd fill in some time transfering some of my old "real" photo's onto my computer. Here's a few of the better boars I've got over the years, with a bit about each.

This was one of my earlier Trophys, it took me 3 weeks of waiting every evening after work before a shot presented itself. He went 160lb, with 3 inches of tusk.

I chased this guy for a couple of weeks before my brother wandered out the back with a .222 and put a little pill between his eyes at 20 paces. Another good 3 inches of ivory and 154lb.

Another one of my Bro's pigs. A shot to the spine at 40 yards from a .270 didn't have any effect, but a second to the heart as he ran off brought him down. 178lb.
A chinese freind wanted to have a go. He shot one of the smaller pigs, then forgot to reload, once again my brother cleaned up the big guy, just after it ran between our freinds legs. I forget the exact weight, but it was around 180lb.

You've got to get them home somehow, The lazy way to carry 150lb.

The biggest pig i've been involved with so far, I took a young guy hunting one night, and we got within 20 yards of this guy before I told him to shoot. 215lb, lucky i didn't have to carry him far, and it was all down hill.

This boar, we caught with dogs, and we were after him for some months. Though not massive, he was a proper old bush boar, with some real age, as you can see by the crease of his sheild. He weighed 172lb, and sported 3 3/4 inches of tusk. The only pig I've ever had mounted.
Cheers

Did you need a good de-lousing after some of those shoulder carries? Smiler
I really like that last photo with the great hog and the palm trees. That picture needs to be on a wall too.

Ha ha,no I don't think pig lice are as bad over here, as what I've read about on this site, but you can spend a few hours playing hunt and sqish.
