Does anyone have any experience with Bushnell Elite 4200's on heavy rifles. I am looking at the 2.5-10x40 for a 375 H&H. DG is not an option anytime soon so not worried about low end power. Other options are the 2.5-8 leupold or possibly just a 3-9 leupold.

I have the Elite 4200 1.5-6 Firefly on my A-Bolt 375 H&H. It did a rough 21 day hunt in Tanzania with no problems. I do not recommend using the Firefly fluorescent reticle (see thread on African Hunting)in essentially nightime darkness--the thick posts are too bright and the fine crosshairs are invisible. The fine crosshairs are faintly visible at night w/o having been illuminated.
