After all my complaining about Africa no longer having the same charm for me, seeing Saeed's outstanding photographs, I want to go back to Africa again!!!!!!

I agree; but I have seen enough files and ticks to last me for a long while.

Need more pics of Walter, camp, camp activities, Walter's antics, Walter's annual BBQ, Walter and Roy, . . . . . . . . rotflmo The patterns on the backs of those ticks are sure interesting, but I agree that the "tick pics" are enough.

Roy shot a buffalo this afternoon.

Walter had another go at his practice kongoni.

This is a rather special animal.

He has one of his horns slightly bent.

Walter missed him last year.

And he missed him this year too - twice! rotflmo

We are wondering if he will miss him 3 times next year.

And as some of you seem to be ticked off - or may be jealous - that our buffalo have more friendly ticks on their crown jewels than yours, I won't post as many more of these.

I was taking a video of two waterbuck bulls fighting with the drone, and one fell flat on his face in the river.

Everyone was laughing so much.

I will post photos when I get the chance.

Those Walterhog bullets really punch through those buffaloes. Impressive penetration.

Thanks for taking us along for the ride Saeed!

I'm no fan of ticks.....but I must say I enjoy seeing the different kinds out there. Some may even be considered pretty. Probably mostly by their mates. Wink

Saeed,

What some do not realize is that the "tick pictures" are all selfies by Walter.
This is his idea of "sexting" but he calls it "tixting."
Very funny dotard, that Walter, eh?

As usual great photography. The drone shots especially create an entirely new and interesting dimension to the hunt.

I'm kind of a rifle nut (aren't we all) so if it's possible could you do a few photos of Allen's gun? What is it by the way?

Roy shot a zebra today.

Walter has a new hearing aid, which apparently helps him hear all sorts of birds singing no one else hears!

Last night the lions killed a hyena in front of our camp.

They are creating such a racket right now.

Enjoying it all. The hyena's reaction to the drone is interesting. The one with the very prominent drone shadow is spectacular.

Amazing the coloration of the stream beds from the air. Always missed until the drone was inserted.

Do you have active live video on the drones? Or photo's later? Can you use them to scout with live? I guess is what I'm asking.

Water buck taking a dive, that's funny. Was it the same one standing looking back after the bath?

Some much the same, yet so much different it's amazing. Thank you very much for sharing with us.

A quick question. What do you do with all the buffalo skull and horns you shoot? You must have a huge pile of them!

Good Hunting!

I shot a hippo yesterday for lion bait.

We hear lions from camp every night.

Hyenas were having a fantastic party last night night by our camp we could hardly sleep.

Walter found himself in the middle of some zebra and buffalo, all within a few meters of him.

He wanted to shoot both!!

And ended up with nothing.

He had us in fits of laughter at dinner about this adventure. rotflmo

Great stuff.
I hope all are well.
24 hours after a Waltercue, if you are doing OK,
you are probably safe.
