I'm really enjoying the photos on this trip, the drone views add some great perspectives. Walter shot two buffalo today. I shot my last buffalo as well. Have not had any luck with any eland. We have seen some young bulls which we did not want to shoot. Also kudu. We have seen just one mature bull, and he manged to evade us. The lions are not feeding, but they are around.

Outstanding as usual! Walter killed TWO buffalo? With all of that white sand, I'm absolutely shocked that Walter hasn't set up a beach side resort!

From the holes in the river bank above, they must have big muskrats there. Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. Saeed, Are you the drone pilot? Who took the pictures of soaring vultures? Glorious! If Walter got two buffalo, he did it the same way Hillary got her party's nomination! Rip .

Most drone footage is by me or Gary. Some are by Alan. It really all depends on how lucky one is to find himself in a situation that is best for drone footage. The vultures and hyenas I took, a lot of the other footage were by Garry. The fantastic bird and animal photos are by Maktoum. We only use the drones after a hunt, never before, as we are too busy chasing one animal or another. Yesterday a few miles out of camp we saw a piece of toilet paper tied to a bush. There was some buffalo tracks besides it. We left it and drove on. 300 meters on we saw half a herd cross the road ahead of us, and the other half was split and remained behind. The wind was towards them, so we drone on another 200 meters and stopped and ran back to see if we could catch them on the road - the bush was very thick on either side, so the road was the only place one can actually see to shoot. A cow came out, and an old bull behind her. He stopped to look at us, and got himself shot! This must be the shortest buffalo hunt I have had in Tanzania! Apparently the toilet paper was placed by Walter's crew to mark the tracks of a dugga boy!

Fantastic wildlife photography! And I am running out of Walter insults. Gonna have to come up with a gimmick. Maybe the Reverse-Chuck-Norris? Like this: All of Walter's genes are recessive. Rip .

Very nice. The picture of the white-fronted bee eater might be the best picture you've taken. If you don't already, follow Mike Fell on Instagram. He does a lot of camera traps and gets some amazing pictures.

I think one of the best wildlife photos yet is the one of the "Outer Circle" waterbuck (crooked horn) pointing his target-arse at the photographer, mooning you lot! Has no one collected that fine trophy yet? I am very impressed by Walter's hunting prowess! Two buffalo! Walter takes steroids, but only so that his balls will fit in his pants. Rip .

You well have a good laugh at this. I have no idea how many times we have put a dead animal for a friend to shoot unsuspecting, thinking that it is a live animal. We left camp specifically looking for eland, as so far they have eluded us. Walter a nd Maktoum were supposed to go to the swamp, by a different route. Well, as everything that concerns Walter, we saw them drive on the track we wanted to take to where we thought we migt find an eland. We ran after them, and got them to turn back and take another route. Just as well we did. A few minutes later we saw some eland cows not far away. We could not see any bull, but, after checking their racks, we found bull tracks. We followed them for a few kiometeres, and saw an old bull browsing on a tree. I fired a shot at him before he disappeared. He ran off. We ran after him, and found copious amount of blood, but no eland. A few meters further, the blood disappeared. We continued following the tracks. Suddenly, Alan puts the shooting sticks up, and points ahead. I could see the eland body, with his head down. I fired a shot at his shoulder. He never moved. I fired another shot again. "I think he is already dead" said Alan, laughing! We ran to him. Apparently he sat down, and died lying upright, just as one would put him up for photos! My two shots were less than 2 inches appart on is should! I had to suffer the continuous jokes of the crew, for "shooting a dead eland"!

X-ed a giant eland. That is a lot of great meat. Deserves another KABOOBIE-KABOOBIE from the camp! A squirrel's life in Tanzania must be tough! Cute little bugger. Just the opposite of Walter, except the bugger part. I hear that Walter was bitten by a cobra once upon a time, and after five days of excruciating pain ... the cobra died. Rip .

Today was our last hunting day. We hunted this morning, and I shot a wildebeest. In the afternoon we had our usual shooting contest, and a lady game scout beat all the boys! I have more photos to share with you, and of course many video clips. I will post these as I process them.

Shucks, time flies when you are having fun. The consolation for the end of the hunt is the time allowed for Saeed to post many more photos and videos. Obviously Walter did not compete in the shooting competition if a girl won. Walter is the best shot in Tanzania, in his own opinion. I am getting my second wind on Walter jokes. Speaking of wind, Walter is a very kind and considerate fellow, generous to a fault. The fault comes in that he thinks so highly of himself and his flatus that when he breaks wind, he calls out "Bless you!" to anyone in earshot and down wind. Rip .
