Yes Todd, I will make sure and bring it to Dallas. After a short training period, I'm sure that you can become passable at using it.
Have a good trip, stay safe.

Wow, 2 pages for this little thread! Thanks for all the well wishes guys! beer

Rickster, being Marine Corp trained, I'm well versed in the use of those "black" highlighters. No training required, just need to borrow one! Big Grin

Getting close to the day is always a bit nerve wracking, sleep losing, but fun experience.

Hope you have a great trip!

No kidding. Don't know why, but I'm a bit nervous about this trip going off well. Probably because I've got the wife in tow and it's always much easier to "roll with the times" when it's just me, especially knowing "Africa"!

Charl,

Thanks man. We will certainly hook up at the shows!

Personally couldn't imagine it any other way.

Yes, but you have a wife that hunts. Mine does not. She just observes, has been invited on all of my trips, and this is only the second time she has agreed to go. So I'm hoping things go off with less of Mr. Murphy than is sometimes the case. Wink

She evolved into it by always going with me.

That's not likely in my case. After 32 years of trying to convert her, it hasn't happened yet! Actually, I think you're lucky in that regard.

I know you will have a wonderful safari and I look
forward to your story when you return. The NF 570
grain solids will never penatrate to the required de-
gree though. (Yea, sure. They probably could kill
from Cairo! Eeker )

D/R Hunter

Correct bullet placement, combined with the required depth of bullet penetration, results in an anchored animal...
