137 to "African soil" at the Joberg airport, 138 to the Sea Cliff, 139 to a sundowner at Kigosi.

Started packing a month ago, went to the doc for a Malerone scrip Saturday, shot tin cans with the .458 last Sunday, got my shots yesterday, .375 went to the 'smith for a tuneup today. Maybe I'll do 4457s at lunch tomorrow.......

I'm not ready yet, but I COULD BE in 5 minutes. Smiler

20 days before I step off the plane in RSA then off to Botswana the next day. In the final strech now, just have to review everything and not leave anything important behind.

Elkfitter,
If your trip follows the normal pattern, it will be hard to think about anything else after you get home as well.

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.
