You are very welcome. It's been a long trip in length of time and Mark Young spoke with me before the trip and wanted me to let him know how we felt about a trip of this length.

The interesting part is that with the nearly two months broken up into different locations and pursuits it did not feel too long.

Both hunts became tiring from a lack of sleep standpoint but we seemed to manage to sneak in partial rest days when needed.

Mark, this did not feel at all like too much work. Part of me is ready to return home and part of me would be ready to start over.

Feels about perfect and we are very lucky folks.

Cheers
Jim

Jim, my friend, I indeed look forward to the hunt report & hopefully will get to set down with you & the lovely Joyce & hear about it first hand sometime.
Epic adventure. Now we just need "the rest of the story".

OK........Joyce reacts to Teste bites and looked like she had small pox by the end of the Niassa trip. Big Grin But by far the mental image that stuck was her pulling spear grass out of her butt whenever she stepped out of the truck. We are still finding those pointy buggers and we have been out of MOZ FOR 4 DAYS.

How's that for a mental image Cecil?

Cheers
Jim

Just came in through Houston. Global Entry made things easy. Firearm check only required 4457's. Then they sent me to another spot to have my boots cleaned.

That woman asked where I hunted. Repeatedly asked me where the trophies were and then asked me where I lived. I replied Alaska. She then tried to bait me with, "Isn't there enough animals there for you to kill"?

Jim,

Either you misunderstood what I said in our conversation or I did not understand your post. Anyway a long safari such as your does get to be a job but quite a pleasant one. You get into the routine until you move on to the next phase. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to have done a few long safaris but none as long as yours. Glad you got to experience it.

Mark

I probably misunderstood you. I just had someone ask me last night if I remember how to make my own coffee. Big Grin

It was a long trip but broken up in such a way that it was not tedious.

Cheers

I can just imagine you both walking 12 inches off the ground while wanting to catch up on sleep. Unfortunately you can't sleep as you keep playing so many scenes in your mid!

Really glad for you both.
