Limpopo boy missing after croc attack March 09 2008 at 04:26PM Police are searching for an 11-year-old Limpopo boy after he was attacked by a crocodile while playing near a river, police said on Sunday. Sibusiso Ndove and a group of friends were playing near the Xitumbe River in Mhinga Location on Friday when the incident occurred, said Inspector Magezi Chauke. "The boys swam in the river for a few minutes, and were drying off on the near by rocks. "Ndove was sitting on a rock close to the river, when the crocodile grabbed him and pulled him into the water. "He screamed once, but was not seen after that. "Crocodiles frequent the nearby rivers. The community is warned not to go near, but never listen," Chauke said. The search continues. - Sapa Kathi kathi@wildtravel.net 708-425-3552 "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page."

Kathi, I was sitting here reading that article thinking too post it , and you were too quick, the part that I wanted too post was another attack in Kwazulu Natal, where they tried too bait the croc, but the bait was stolen, not once twice, they have not found the bait thief yet??? Only in Africa, conservation authorities are trying too solve the problem and the locals steal the bait that would protect them Walter Enslin kwansafaris@mweb.co.za DRSS- 500NE Sabatti 450 Rigby 416 Rigby
