Several AR members were lamenting that the best gun sleeve on the planet had been discontinued.
I contacted RedOxx by email yesterday and asked if they would make some for us.
They responded to my email today and said they would. They said call their toll free number and talk to Christian to order them.

I have 2 coming.

Anyone have a picture of what it looks like? I am assuming these are used on the back of the truck to protect the rifle.

I have a couple of new toys that will need a little protection.

Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up, Butch. I have left a few behind in Africa over the years. They are good protection in the vehicle.

I have had two for several years. One in purple for my wife, and the other in blue for me. They work well to protect a rifle from dust and damage in the back of a Land Cruiser. Easy and fast to retrieve from a rack. Great for reducing weight in a TuffPak as well. RedOxx will custom make just about anything you want for a reasonable price.

Ordered two in Safari, along with the Booty Boss in Safari as well. Christian is a great employee to deal with at Red Oxx. He recognized me from other orders that I've placed before. We laughed about the number of orders that have been flowing in on the gun sleeves. I told him that the word has gotten around on AR. He's been busy. Big Grin

I added two more to their production. Great product and was sorry to see they discontinued them. Kudos to Begno for contacting them!

I was looking for a solution to carrying nice rifles on backcountry hunts. I started out with a Red OXX slip and had a friend adapt it for my purpose.

The first thing he did was to fit it with straps and fastex buckles.
Next he rigged it so it would stay in the case even if the buckles or straps failed.
I'm very happy with it. I've used it successfully on several hunts and will continue to do so.

Just got Fedex notification that my order was picked up today. Guess they had some in stock or it takes very little time to make them as I ordered yesterday.

Christian told me today that the manufacturing part of Red Oxx is getting them made up and shipped out within a few days. Faster than expected.

Thanks. I'm calling tomorrow. I'm down to one. Every time I go, I have one for each rifle. And every year, I'm lucky if I come back with one. I even took one in purple one year thinking no one would want that one. Wrong!

Called and ordered some today.

They are very thankful for this posting and they are doing all they can to fill the orders.

There is free shipping right now.

Therefore; I ordered 3 in different colors. Should be shipped by Friday.

Wonderful customer service, and they are located in Billings, asked me to stop by the next time I am in town. We chatted a while as I try to go to the Montana state trap shoot when it is hosted but the Billings club.
