I am sure you did, can’t remember.

My brain has a large sieve in it.

Apparently I remember things I WANT to remember! rotflmo

I have a few of those and thanks for the suggestions. African Game Trials by TR is what hooked me when I was 8 years old. My grandmother didn't know what to do with me, but she had this old book and it kept me out of trouble during my visits. I still have the remnants of that book that I read cover to cover so many times. Long before any of Capstick's books, African Game Trails convinced me that I would hunt in Africa however unlikely that seemed at the time.

I have many of these books in ebook format, and downloaded on my ipad.

Very rarely I have time to read at home, except a few pages in bed sometimes.

But, I do have time when I am travelling.

I read on the plane on long flights.

And I do read when I am on a break somewhere.

Generally a good book is great after a hard day of hiking.

I have downloaded a selection already, as I am flying out to the Swiss Alps tomorrow.

Hiking in the mountains on the same ground we ski on in the winter is fantastic!

I will post photos on the Photo Forum.
