I shot a kongoni and an eland today. You can see the bullet under his skin above the bullets placed outside. It clearly shows how it expanded.

Love the croc photo's Saeed. ------------------------------ A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

The drone soars with the vultures and eagles. Looks like the curvature of the earth is showing on the horizons. Weird animal anatomy specimens might be discussed later? No, I do not mean the photos of Walter!

A big dream of mine is to hunt Tanzania. But, short of winning a lottery, it's not going to happen. I get to experience it through your photo's every year Saeed. Thank you. Hunting is not a matter of life or death....It's much more important

Another set of fine photographs. Hard to believe that the safari has come to the end so fast! Best- Locksley,R. "Early in the morning, at break of day, in all the freshness and dawn of one's strength, to read a book - I call that vicious!"- Friedrich Nietzsche

Great report and photos as always Saeed! Good to finally see a couple of elephants in that last frame! At least there are a few still around. Any male lions? Thanks again!

Is that, above, a juvenile Bateleur assigned to watch over Walter as totem animal for the hunt? That bird looks like a bored babysitter. And is that, below, a drone encounter with another raptor of what species with such a big and wide tail? So many amazing photos, thanks.

Walter, Maktoum and me are finally home. Roy and Rene are in transit from Dubai to their home in the US. Pete and Gary are heading home today from Dar. Alan is busy closing camp, and might need another week to 10 days to finish his season. We all had an incredibly great safari. Practically everyone knew everyone else, and we all felt like one big family. We had two young game scouts on their first safari, and they soon got in the spirit of things, and joined the fun. I am sorry I was unable to answer any questions posted earlier, as our Internet connection was a bit spotty earlier on - and of course lack of time. Had a few memorable experiences that seem to happen on safari despite all the precautions one takes. One day we followed a herd of buffalo early in the morning. Caught up with them feeding through some bush, and some were actually feeding in the open. The wind was perfect, and we tried to get close to them. We must have been very good in our stalk, as we surprised a bull feeding on the other side of a small bush barely taller then a man! We were only a few feet from him, when he sensed our position and took off! If he had decided to come for us, neither Alan nor me would have had any chance at all!! He ran off a few yards and stopped looking back. I took a quick off hand shot at his head, as that was what I could see, and dropped him. The rest of the herd ran a off into the bush, and another bull stood to look back, and I shot him too. Great way to start the day, two buffalo down before 8 in the morning.

Saeed, Many of the photos posted are taken by Rene, Gary and Maktoum. They are all great with cameras. We have one member of our team who is totally useless with a camera, and I am not going to mention his name
