I like jdollar, "Double Trouble". Perfect! I too have met Mark on a couple of occasions and think he is a gracious host. He has never snubbed me and I can't say the same for some "big name" hunting guys. His videos for whatever reason, do serve a purpose of what a buffalo charge looks like and how it unfolds. I have used them to mentally prepare myself should such an incident happen. I have said it before on this forum, mental preparation is paramount when you hunt dangerous game.
If you think about some of the DG shows on TV, I've seen some big name guys push ele's until they charge so it can be filmed for TV.

Yet another thing you and I see eye to eye on Doc. I've enjoyed his DVD's realizing he hams it up for the camera. I've never heard a single person who has hunted with him say anything negative about the experience.

I have to say that once you sort through the comedy (and there is some funny stuff here), get beyond the few that generally have negative comments regarding most any MS topic (and they are of course welcome to exercise that freedom), you find some very good ideas for his DVD title! Keep them coming.

I am compiling a list so please keep adding any additional titles as a new post so I don't miss any good ideas.

I started watching Mark Sullivan VHS tapes nearly 12 years ago when I was only 16. Needless to say, I was blown away! It was beyond entertaining. I can't remember the name of that video but do remember the best quote, "Douglas, that was a beautiful shot." My best friend's name was Doug and we used that line extensively throughout high school on all of our hunting/shooting adventures.

Now as an E5 in the Air Force, I live my safari dreams vicariously through Boddington, Carter, Sullivan, CCMDoc, Michael458, larryshores and the many others who publicly tell their about their safari adventures. Hopefully one day I'll be able to walk the long grass. Until that day comes, I'll enjoy other's adventures and wish they were my own.

Mark Sullivan has been able to package and market a product like no other. Some hate it, other love it. I do believe that everyone can remember the first time they saw a Mark Sullivan buffalo charge. I've been told he is a great person and for me that is good enough.

I watched the DVD's in my younger years but cannot stomach them anymore. Purposely making animals charge after wounding them is not my cup of tea. I met Mark at SCI and we had a chat and since then I won't ever be purchasing or watching one of his DVD's.

I had meet Mark two times and I can say only the best about him. A great charakter, an good hunter and an perfect shoot.


He had used the wod DEATH in the most of his DVDs, Books and published articles.
So Im sure, he use the word DEATH again.
