Having seen this commandment, I am forced to give you the confessions of a Rem. 700 owner. I wish I could say that my .416 Rem 700 is completely fit for dangerous game. I have used it for many years. Obviously I have a vested interest in being totally sold on my weapon. Unfortunately I can't say that. The dirty secret is that the feed mechanism has always been inadequate, and is downright dangerous when standing in front of dangerous game. There.
