Has anybody hunted Zambia in November? As I understand the rainy season starts in November.
Has this been a problem for you. I am thinking of an elephant buffalo hunt.

Good hunting

Carl - Where, and with who?

Yes, I've hunted Zambia all over the entire country. In every month, May - November.

Yep, good area - good guy! Likely will be hot, but the last time I hunted Zambia in November we had a few brief showers but nothing serious. I doubt you would get rained out there.

Ask "fairgame" as well.

I hunted the valley last century with Peter, just a few months after he took the hit from that wounded Lion. Great guy and a pleasure to spend time with. Only guessing about November, but I would think HOT but not too wet.

Never been there in November, but Peter Chipman is a heck of a good PH and an honest guy. If he say's it's a good time for elephants in his area I'd have to believe him (no matter what the weather was doing).

I hunted the Luangwa in late october/early november of 2008. Missed Barry's election by being over there. It was very hot, and we got threatened a few times with rain, although aside from some isolated drops, none really fell on us.

It will be heatstroke inducing hot, and usually pretty humid. You won't get much cooling at night.

Having said that, the game was pretty concentrated near available water, and I did well with the hunting.
