i have a pair and use them for canoeing and actually hippo and croc hunting ...they are great and surprisingly tough ....

Great kayaking shoes, but pricey for what you get. Allow tall paddlers to still wear footwear in small freestyle kayaks. They grip really well too!

I think they would make nice warm water wading shoes for fishing.

I have tried them on and unless you have the foot shape of the toes area they don't work.
Being a surfer the ones with the big toe and the other toes all together work better for me.

I hear reports of them being used even in the military.

Some Vadoma are nomadic, don't wear clothes, and live in small caves. They eat Mopane bee honey and snare guinea fowl.

Below is a pic of one's cave in the Zambezi Valley. You can see the vine ladder going to it. I have a telaphoto of it on my other computer...if I remeber...I will send it to photobucket to show sometime.
