Opened the mailbox today & inside was a package just the right size to contain Saeeds DVD set. Turned out to be some crap my wife had ordered, started to lay it in the road & run over it.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am afriad I have some bad news, but hopefully the solution we found is not going to upset too many of you.

I am having a hard time getting quality Blue ray blank disks.

I got some, and had too many rejected by our duplicator.

So for those who have requested a BD version of our safari, I have encoded the films to WindowsMedia 1080p HD.

That means you can have the HD version, but you have to play it on your computer.

Whioch of course can be connected to your HD TV if you wish to do so.

Any of you who have requested the Bluray version who prefers to get a normal DVD please let me know.

If you don't, I will just go ahead and send you this version.

I am sorry about this mix up, which is completely out of our control.

Saeed, many thanks, sir!

The package arrived today, case crushed as mentioned by others but discs in great shape. My wife was laughing at the cover photo of a hunter clad in shorts...the temperature this morning when I went to the PO Box was -39C, windchill -49C. Roughly 60cm of snow on the ground. No shorts around here!

I look forward to watching them...this will be more time spent in front of the TV than in the last year or two combined.Smiler

Again, thank you!

We were in France in the Alps last month, and at the top the tem[rature was said to be around -26C with the wind factor in.

I did not feel a thing, as I was covered from head to toe with ski clothes.

Let me see if I can find a photo and post it.

Yes, it is Hero3 and we took some great video footage.

In fact, I had a spare battery, and took several hours of video every day.

Sorry for the delay in some of you getting their DVDs.

Still waiting on blanks, which I understand are on the way.

The Gopro is great for short range video, and scenery with its very wide angle lense.

It is no good for hunting at all, so don'r forget to take a good video camera, as well as a good still camera.

For a pocket camera, I highly recommend either of these. Canon SX260HS, Panasonic TZ30.

For a better alround camera, but not pocktable, I recommend the Panasonic FZ200, or the slightly cheaper FZ150.

By the way, all the above cameras take decent HD video, but not as good as a dedicated video camera for hunting.

Today was a double +. I had the pleasure of meeting the Vincent folks at SCI -- such gentlemen. Then I discovered the postman had delivered the DVDs. Not sure what war zone the packages went through as the cases were pretty well shattered. The discs appear to be intact and I'll start playing them tomorrow.

Thanks, Saeed, for this massive effort to share your experiences with us.
