No sign of mine yet...but it takes two weeks to get mail here from the U.S. at the best of times, let alone at Christmas. I expect Dubai-Canada to be a couple of weeks minimum, and then another couple to reach ass-end-of-nowhere Manitoba. Big Grin

Mine will probably come in the day I leave for the DSC conv.
Then my neighbors kid that collects my mail for me will probably confiscate them, never letting me know they arrived.

I am really looking forward to getting my copy, it should be a great distraction when I need a break from my almost never-ending studying.

Happy New Year Saeed, and thank you sincerely.

My DVD's arrived yesterday, and I started watching them today. Smiler

It seems that our Canada Post gorillas think it would be fun to jump up and down on about 3 out of 4 envelopes I receive, but despite the cases being broken into many peices, the DVDs themselves were unscathed! This package will keep me busy for a while! Smiler Thanks Saeed!!!

Cheers
Chris

I hope all of you who have received theirs enjoy them.

We have shipped almost 500 copies so far, and we have ran out of blank DVDs again!

An order has been placed, and a new shipment is on the way.

I have requests for about 200, which I hope to full in the next couple of weeks.

It is not too late to ask for your copy, and the sooner you do the sooner you will get it.

Actually, I am in the same boat...PM'd on day one as well. A package going halfway 'round the world, during the holiday season, and at the mercy of at least a couple of different countries' postal system...I don't know if we should have seen it by now?

Gentlemen,

I have printed every address I have received, and tried to puit them on order.

But due to the cheap help one gets here - guess who I mean? - they somehoe got mixed up.

I don't know which came first and which came last, but I am shipping DVDs to all of them.

I see I have 102 address labels already printed, and I have almost 3 pages of PMs to print.

I am unable to get the printable blank DVDs locally, so have to get them from overseas.

I had about 1,500 here originally, and ordered and received an additional 6,000.

All have been shipped or collected locally.

I have a shipment on the way, and will do those as soon as they get here.

We do everything here in our shooting lab. In fact we had to build a new DVD duplicator wihch makes 11 copies at a time.

I have not gotten to making the Bluray version yet, as I only have 9 requests so far, and I wanted to finish the DVDs and send them off first.

I have gotten messages from members from all over the world that they have got theirs and they are enjoying watching them. Including the US and Canada.

I am going to plan ahead for next year, and make sure we have plenty of blank DVDs before hand.

I am sorry for this lack of forsight, but I never realised how popular these DVDs are. Smiler

One day I am going to sit down and write a book about Walter.

I am just too afraid people will never believe it!

He was here one day, and then left to his workshop.

He called from his land line.

"I forgot my phone at your place."
"It is not here, you must have forgotten it somehere else."

"It must be here then. Can you call it?"
"Why don't you call it from your land line?"

"Typical! Ypu just don't want to be helpfull. I don't know which number is on that phone"

Just to make sure everyone understand this. Walter uses abouta dozen different cell phones.

"And how am I supposed to know which one you are using today?"

"Oh never mind. I can see the phone from here now"

On another occasion, he was here and then gone home.

"Did you steal my garage remore control?"
"Walter, I don't even know you have a garage remote control. And why would I steal the bloody thing. I have not been to your car anyway"

"Well, you must have hidden it. Because I brought inside your house with me."

"Why did you do that?"
"You see? You are asking stupid questions again! I do NOT know why, but I did. Look for it where I was sitting. Or by the coffee machine"

I looked, nothing was there.

"It is not here"

"Can you look outside? It might have falled off me outside.

I went and found teh remote where his car was parked.

But, I wasn't going to tell him I found it.

"It is not here"
"I cannot get into my garage now"

"Why don't you go inside, and open the garage from inside?"

"Do you stop your car outside and walk in and then open your garage from inside then get in your car and drive in?"

"No, I use my remote. Because my remote stays in the car all the time"

"I don't know why I bother talking to you about anything. You never come up with teh right answers"
