DennisHP had the second hunt after mine, and he took some gifts from me to Dean Kendell and the manager. dennis killed his record-book sitatunga and a couple of buff, and he sold me one of the buff capes for a mount. He died shortly therafter from cancer. His by-line was "borrow the money and go-hunting". He was right.

That's sad.

I remember Dennis posting here a while back about a bear hunt in Alaska that hadn't gone well and mentioning something about maybe not being around long enough to try for another bear.

I didn't know that he had passed, I'm sorry to hear that.
