Well two years and two weeks since I took my leopard with Brent Leesmay and Chifuti Safaris in the Chewore North concession and I finally have the bad boy back home! He is even more stunning than I remember both in color and size. Mike Baird and B&B Taxidermy did my work and I couldn't be more pleased! Also picked up my Benin safari so a new double rifle will have to wait... ouch!!! But with nothing at the taxidermist I guess I need to head out to the bush soon... like the 30th of June! I like the relaxed pose. IMHO, too many mounts of the big cats feature a snarling, humped up animal. Yours is quite natural. I also like the natural looking rocks with the branch and leaves. Thanks everyone! Mike... the cat and base are on a pedestal that has the cat at eye level around six and a half feet off the ground...
