The Tanzania fee situation is what it is but the hunting is good. My good friend and client Dr. John Belknap from Spokane, WA and his wife Theresa were the first clients in Lobo this season. He shot all his animals available on license including a 43" and 43.5" buffalo. Warthog was the single exception and he has several already. They followed up the hunt with a 3 Day Northern Tour taking in the Crater, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. I think the smiles say it all.

Nice trophies... Lolkisale and Lobo are beautiful places to safari!

Interesting to see that both buff appear to have been taken in very open country.

Great trophies!

You may be right as far as these 2 were concerned. However, generally, Lobo buff are known to be some of the most cunning of their species in existence. hunting them is generally done on all fours in some of the densest thorn scrub you can immagine. They live amongst the maasai and are consistantly being harassed and persecuted over the ages. They also tend to have an aggressive disposition as the late Mr Fontana found out....

Mich

Most of the hunt was conducted in the thick stuff but the local intelligence reported a of couple herds of buffalo on the plain. Sure enough they were there and one bull was shot. The next day the hunters returned, again found a herd and another great bull was taken. I've known Dr. Belknap for many years and he is a very lucky hunter.

Guys,

It is Dean and we are very glad to have him on board. Dr. Belknap and his wife were very happy with him.
