Can someone point me in the right direction?

The iPad is not the problem.

You have to have your photos on a website before you can link them to other sites.

You cannot post photos that are only your iPad.

If you use postimages.org, it works about the same way as on the PC (see link in my signature). Instead of dragging and dropping the photo, the interface lets you select from the photos on the iPad. After you select the photos, click “Done“ and you then copy the link for “Hotlink for forums”, and paste the link right into your post. I’m posting this from an iPad.

Just got a notice. I used Picture Trail till they started charging. Apparently hasn't worked, because they are shutting down in February.
