Not a recipe but funny. Julia was making a fancy recipe, she pulled it out of the oven, it was a total flop. She said in that trilling voice "oh well there is always the wine"

I really liked Julia Child. I watched her show all the time. I forgot the incident but she did something really funny with a chicken and as always she could recover. She went through more butter on that show. I’m sure they all had coronaries. Oh yes, I loved that voice. I have one of her cook books.
This should be an interesting post.

I recall the parody done on Saturday Night Live with Dan Ackroyd playing Julia. He slices himself + blood spurts everywhere + in her voice says, "Oh I just knew this would happen," For some odd reason after that, that is the comment always said after a kitchen disaster + always brings a laugh. Really though, she was a treasure, I even enjoyed Meryl Streep's rendition.

Justin Willians cooking show was a hoot as well as having some good cajun recipes. I guarantee! Smiler

I just seen one of his shows.
he couldn't find the baked chicken until he burned himself on the pan and looked under the towel covering the pan.

She did enjoy her wine. It would be interesting to know what she done while working for the oss, besides helping develop a shark repellant still in use today. An interesting woman
