My tomatoes are starting to peter out with the heat, but I'll save this recipe for next year. We make a simple French recipe for Tomatoes Provencal or a layered zucchini tomato bake. I also gorged on BLT's made with home cured bacon.

don't know Bill. Sounds OK. But, fresh red-ripe tomatoes taste killah with just sea salt n pepper. Also, a big bowl of 'maters with finely chopped celery, fresh lemon, some onions and tiny bit of oil and S&P makes a delicious lunch. Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.

Going to try this if I ever get any ripe tomatoes. It's been a cool, wet spring/summer in SE PA. Just now getting cherry tomatoes. Larger ones are still green. About 4-5 weeks later than normal

We use tomatoes in lots of dishes. Almost as often as onions. One of my favorite breakfast dishes is eggs, garlic, green chili and tomatoes. Eaten with your choice of bread, absolutely delicious!
