| 10 day waiting period ? what for ? PA they make a phone call and hand you the rifle . Takes about 10 minutes at the longest ! |

| Yeah, it's called the instant check system. Same goes for handguns. A call to the state police and they give the FFL a verification number. Wham, bang, thank you ma'am, you're on your way to enjoying that new firearm. Cost is $5. Mostly for the long-distance phone call.

| It's California. What can I say? The caliber of the rifle is 38-55. You can see it on the www.csharpsarms.com website as the Model 1885 Highwall Sporting Rifle. Mine is the same except for the rear sight where I have the New Ideal Sporting Tang sight. It came with the standard wood but it looks better than I expected. |
