Have access to a Winchester 70 7mm mag Laredo rifle. What am I in for by reboring/chambering to the taylor. Specifically any feeding problems? Thanks Jeff "Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you; Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your sins, the other for your freedom...."

No issues on the feeding. Basically the same case. If it were mine I would go new barrel vs rebore. But that's me. Do a search there have been several listings for locations that handle the rebore. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

I have done a Taylor, it was an easy job! All you have to do is rebarrel and finish ream the chamber to set headspace. BTW: It will be cheaper to just rebarrel. It is a slight possiblity, but not likely that you might need to adjust the feed rails...That said I had NO adjustment, and My Taylor feeds like snot on glass and is my favorite hunting rifle. You won't regret a Taylor...I don't...It will effectively drop anything on this planet short of the paleolithic period! Welcome to the Taylor club! She is a wonderful cartridge that makes for a handy, easy to carry, and shoot weapon! Hansel
