I have Blackburn bottom metal units for Winchester 70's, but I noticed they make both Blackburn style and Oberndorf style guard bows for Mausers. http://www.blackburnmachine.com/254768.html Can anyone tell me how these differ or better yet post a picture of the Oberndorf style guard bow? Thanks, - stu

Jeffe, Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm thick, I have no idea what radiused means in this context. One continuous curve? I have the Blackburn style to look at. The inside of the guard bow is almost egg shaped. How does that vary to the Oberndorf style? Anyone? - stu

Oberndorf looks more like a 1909 Argentine Style Trigger Guard. More square instead of oval like the egg.
