Stu CBlackburn style vs. Oberndorf style triggerguard
I have Blackburn bottom metal units for Winchester 70's, but I noticed they make both Blackburn style and Oberndorf style guard bows for Mausers.
http://www.blackburnmachine.com/254768.htmlCan anyone tell me how these differ or better yet post a picture of the Oberndorf style guard bow?
Thanks,

Jeffe,
Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm thick, I have no idea what radiused means in this context.

One continuous curve?
I have the Blackburn style to look at. The inside of the guard bow is almost egg shaped. How does that vary to the Oberndorf style? Anyone?

22WRFOberndorf looks more like a 1909 Argentine Style Trigger Guard. More square instead of oval like the egg.

WoodjackstuC,
Large oberndorf unit:www.champlinarms.com above is their Homepage, go to "gun vault" and under bolt rifles you will see;
No:22 will be a G&H .404 mauser,it has Oberndorf Bottom.
No:30 will be a HartmannWeiss375H*H, it has an Oberndorf bottom. (blackburn makes them for H&W).
Small Oberndorf Unit:: you can see on this GMA Kurz below;
