Since you closed the topic Jeffe....

to set the record straight, rem721 constawntly brings malm, bill, and chic as inferences, then ridicules everyone....

If "bill" is me then Rem721 should not be using me for a reference for anything. I dont even know who he is.

Mr Soverns,

I don't believe I've ever used you as a reference. In fact, I don't think I've even referred to you.

I have referred to Chic and Malm and maybe a couple of others whose work I find to be very good. For the record, I find Duane Wiebe's, Jim Dubell's, SDH's, and a couple of others' work to also be excellent. I don't know any of them either but I do know top notch work when I see it.

You should actually read a post before you respond like your buddies told you to.

Well, to take it a step further, I don't think I ever referred to a Bill which you claim I "constantly" refer to.

Bill,
May I be the first to request you reconsider on this.

You're one very talanted guy and a fine poster and we need folks like you.

Just put the folks that offend you on ignore and carry on.

Agree with vapodog and ramrod340! I for one appreciate all the talented and experienced people who post here on AR. There are also posers, trolls and AHs that dwell here and it is up to the reader to determine who is the "real deal" and those sporting a BS degree...fortunately the troll reveal themselves pretty quick.

Bill,

Just put those posters that continue to stir on ignore and continue to treat us with your work.

Wow, amazing. Having a bad day, need a pick me up, some validation? Then just make up a story that you were picked on or just mentioned and then threaten to leave. lol

Bill, you won't leave because if you did, you'd have to pay for advertising. jumping

I have only been on here a couple of years, and I joined to get information for my custom rifle [which I did], but I am amazed at the freedom to be unprofessional and even uncivilized just because we are on the Internet, and if you say this is how you normally act, then I take back my statement about California being full of a$$holes, there are a lot of other states listed under "Location:" that are full of them too!

Bill--Sorry to see you go. You gave me great advice in the past and I appreciated it even though I did not have you do any work for me.

Unfortunately there have been about a dozen excellent gunmakers that once posted here that are now gone in the short period I have been registered. Until you can do better you probably shouldn’t critic others work?

I am an advocate of the ignore feature!

What a shame. This place just isn't what it use to be. I have learned so much here. I still hang around, but feel less compelled to participate all the time.

I don't know a whole lot about building guns, but have always' been interested in it. It would seem there are a lot more of these people (like me) are here now with the exception being they will try to convince you they do know what they're doing even though they obviously don't. Another thing that I've seen a lot more of lately that really bother's me is a "pile on" mentality. You see it on a lot of other forums, but not much here in the past. When you see it you can rest assured the people doing it aren't thinking for themselves.

Bill, I hate to see you go, but if you do I certainly understand why.

Terry

Thanks for staying on AR, Bill!

Seriously, the "ignore" feature is a good one...why get worked up from a post from a troll or wannabe? There are a lot of good folks here but sometimes you need to sort the wheat from the chaff. I have learned a LOT from AR and continue to do so.
